Terms of Use

Last updated September 18, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Trancher web interface (the “Interface”) at trancher.xyz. By connecting a wallet or using the Interface, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Interface.

1. What Trancher is

Trancher is a non-custodial interface to self-custodied smart contracts (“Contracts”) deployed on the Base network that place single-sided limit and laddered orders as Uniswap v4 liquidity. The Interface is a convenience for interacting with those Contracts. It does not take custody of your assets, execute trades on your behalf, or act as a broker, exchange, or counterparty. Every transaction is initiated and signed by you from your own wallet.

2. No custody, no intermediary

Your funds remain in the Contracts and are controlled solely by your keys and the Contracts’ logic. You alone are responsible for your wallet, your keys, and the transactions you sign. We cannot reverse, cancel, or recover any transaction.

3. Unaudited, experimental software

The Contracts and Interface are new, experimental, and have not been audited. Smart-contract software can contain bugs or vulnerabilities that result in the partial or total loss of your funds. Use small amounts you can afford to lose. You use the Interface and Contracts entirely at your own risk.

4. Trading risk

On-chain orders may fill partially, at prices across your chosen range, or not at all, depending on market movement and arbitrage. Digital assets are volatile and you may lose money. Nothing in the Interface is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and no content is a recommendation to trade any asset.

5. Fees

The Contracts may take a protocol fee on order proceeds, disclosed in the Interface. Network gas fees are paid by you to the network, not to us.

6. Eligibility & compliance

You represent that you are of legal age, are not located in or a resident of any jurisdiction where use of the Interface is prohibited, and are not a person subject to sanctions or on any prohibited- party list. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including tax.

7. No warranty

The Interface and Contracts are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Interface will be uninterrupted, error- free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the creators and contributors of Trancher will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or any loss of profits or assets, arising out of your use of the Interface or Contracts.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Interface after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
