Privacy
Trancher is a non-custodial interface to public smart contracts. It has no accounts, no sign-ups, and collects no personal information. This statement explains the little data that is involved.
1. No accounts, no personal data
We do not ask for or store your name, email, or any personal identifiers. You interact by connecting a self-custodied wallet; we never receive your private keys.
2. What is inherently public
Your wallet address and the transactions you sign are recorded on the Base blockchain, which is public by design. That's the nature of on-chain activity, not something Trancher collects.
3. Third-party data providers
To render prices, charts, holders, and depth, the interface calls public third-party services (e.g. DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, Blockscout, and Base RPC endpoints). Those requests are subject to those providers' own policies and may expose your IP address to them, as with any website.
4. Hosting & wallet connectivity
The site is served by our hosting provider (Vercel) and wallet connections may use WalletConnect; standard server logs and connection metadata apply. We do not run our own analytics or ad tracking.
5. Self-hosting
Because the interface is a static app over public contracts, it can be self-hosted. If you prefer not to use this deployment, you can run your own or interact with the contracts directly.
